Our guys, we had a special guest on the podcast today.

His name is Joel Moudamale.

He is a theologian, author, and speaker, and he is the director of theology and research at Proverbs 31 Ministries under the leadership and tutelage of Lisa Turkhurst. He has a new book out right now called The Unseen Battle, Spiritual Warfare, The Three Rebellions, and Christ's victory over dark powers. Man, I really enjoyed the book, and I really enjoyed this interview today. And even right from the

beginning I knew it was going to work out because we have some very similar friend groups

that we talked about there at the beginning. But he made mention of his problems with contemporary

Christian music. And if you've listened to this show for any length of time, you've heard me

kind of elucidate some of my issues with what we see with modern Christian worship music.

So we talked in several ways about that,

about how we sing our heresies before we believe them. He gave a great answer to that.

But then we talked about a lot of different subject matters. You know, we brought up the

Nephilim in this particular podcast or the Nephilim and kind of where he thinks they came from.

Are there still descendants of Nephilim on this earth today? We talk about the three rebellions that we have, or that man has had against God, and how the gospel of Jesus Christ answers those things. And we also talk about, well, how the heck did you end up as a theologian? How the heck did you end up working at a women's ministry? The issues he sees with a lot of modern women's ministries and how Proverbs 31 does it very differently.

Yeah, I mean, you'll probably feel the same way after I did, or as I did it, when you get to the end of this episode. It's like, I had way more questions, and I wanted to hear him talk so much more, but we just kind of ran out of time.
