Let me start off by saying I am a huge fan of Joel Klat, but he is dead wrong on Utah being a big

favorite to win the Big 12 and being a likely top four seed in the college football playoff.

So Joel Clatt made some pretty big news and big comments during his show here in the last couple of days.

And I'm a huge Joel Clatt fan.

I'll tell you right now, when it comes to color and college football analysis, he's in

my top two of national guys that I like, that I respect, that I don't believe

has a real agenda like some of the other guys.

I just think he calls it like it is, or like he sees it, is the best way to put it.

But it doesn't mean he sometimes isn't wrong. And on this one with the

Big 12, he is wrong. So Joe Clat said about Utah here in the last couple of days. He said Utah should

win the Big 12 and they'll be in the playoff. His words. He said they have a top four seed in the

playoff. So wrap your heads around that. Utah most likely at the end of the year is going they have a top four seed in the playoff, so wrap your heads around that.

Utah most likely at the end of the year is going to have a buy and a top four seed in the

college football playoff.

They're the best team in the Big 12.

Now, the reason I disagree with Joel Clyde is not because Utah can't win the Big 12.

It's not because I don't think there's a possibility

that Utah ends up in Arlington, taking on fill in the blank, whoever it might be,

for a Big 12th title. It is entirely possible that Utah wins the Big 12th. But nobody can be a

favorite in the Big 12 this season.
