What's happening? Welcome to Wong Notes podcast. I'm your host, Corey Wong. I'm very excited today because we have the first ever repeat guest happening. Joe Satriani. Satriani was actually my first interview I ever did for this podcast. I was scheduled to do it in person. and then that whole thing happened where we all had to

stay home and whatnot. And then, uh, you know, then Zoom happened. By the way, how did Skype mess

that up? Skype had like a 15 year head start. Anyway, I don't know why. Yeah, whatever. Zoom came

along, did a Zoom interview. Now we're doing them on this app called Riverside. You don't need to know any of this stuff, but it's fine because I'm inclined to tell you, I guess, today. Anyways, I'm excited to have Satch back on the show. Satch is busy. Cat is all over the place, man. Playing with Sammy Hagar, doing the Satjavey stuff, doing some of his own shows.

He's just got so much going on.

I'm absolutely stoked to hear how he plays in these different bands.

Because Joe is one of my favorite guitar players for the reason that he just plays the gig.

And what I mean by that is he doesn't just show up and be like, oh yeah, I got to do this.

He shows up he plays what's appropriate and he absolutely murders.

He commits murder every gig.

Don't take that the wrong way.

You know what I'm saying musically, all right?

I don't know what's gotten into me today.

But I'm excited. I got Satch back on the show. It's a great conversation. You know what else I'm excited about? The Fearless Flyers, we got a new record coming out. We just put out a vinyl pre-order.
