So first, I would say you cannot lecture your way to leverage behavioral change and you cannot

argue your way into a right relationship.

So if you find your two main modes of communication arguing and lecturing, it's not working.

Saying it louder, saying it more frequently is not going to help.

And when you let them fail, when those natural

consequences happen, so many times, that's all the discipline that they need. That's all that

they need to learn from that. We don't need to pile shame on top of it. Because guilt is good.

If they feel guilty about something, that's a signal to our bodies to change our behavior.

But shame tells us that who we are is wrong.

Well, I'm incredibly excited to have on a new friend.

Let's just go ahead and reveal that our daughters, our roommates at Baylor University, which makes this a whole
