Thrilled to welcome clinical psychologist, author, and speaker Dr. Julie Slattery

for the first time to Joe today, Dr. Slattery has been doing this for a long time. She's the

president and co-founder of authentic intimacy and she doesn't shy away from tough conversations

and tough questions about relationships, marriage, and spiritual, emotional, and sexual intimacy.

We talk about a lot of very important things, among them, porn, and what can actually help

versus what we think will help.

The way women are taught to view ourselves from an

early age, something I can't real passionate about, Dr. Slattery's countercultural takes on marriage,

and we even get into some advice from her on how to approach a new year. So much richness in

this conversation you will learn much from hearing from this wise woman today on Joe.

Yeah, hey, we're getting to know each other. I know. That's where every relationship starts. That's right. In real time, we're getting to know each other. So that's kind of fun for the listener because often I'll have on guests who I already know. And I enjoy meeting new people. So I wish this was face to face and we were really meeting. But this is the next best thing. So we'll just do it this way. Yeah. Great. Well, by the time this show airs, it's going to be a new year, 2022.
