I'm so very excited to be back on Wednesday Joe shows this month.

All new shows, thank you for letting me take two months off from Wednesday shows to write my next book.

I'm officially back for this month for mental health awareness,

and I want to dedicate my Wednesday shows to a group of people that are especially

dear to my heart, but also a group we need to focus on because of how important it is to have

them take better care of themselves, our pastors and ministry leaders, staying strong, dealing

with rejection and hurt, finding the fun and serving Jesus, and how not to lose our family, all of this

and so much more, doing a health check for leaders today. I'm in if you're in, so let's get into it.

We hear a lot about ministry falls, and if you know me, you know I'm tender to this subject

because of my own personal situation and what my father and my family went through with my dad

losing his church when I was a young woman. It is the main reason I started something called

Ministry Strong. We offer free resources and trainings to help ministry leaders serve Jesus for the long haul.

So you're going to want to stay in the know with us. But ministry people are not immune to regular life struggles. Just deal with them

often under the scrutiny of people watching. And you add to that the struggles of the past few

years of the pandemic. People's skepticism over church hurt and abuse,

and you have enormous difficulties leading under these circumstances. Those things are so

real. The weariness is just off the charts. We have problems, integrity, all of that

that's really going on. And Satan comes at you very aggressively

as a ministry leader. When your life is dedicated to the work of serving Jesus, it is real, it is
