Got a really compelling interview for you today on Joe. I have to tell you, it's always one of my

favorite days when I get to interview a pastor. Dr. Derwin Gray, founding and lead pastor of

Transformation Church, answered all my pastor questions I had for him, some tough ones too, and he was

very honest. And so much more. We talked all about his new book, The Good Life,

and whether it was even possible to be happy in this day and time, really, this former NFL

player speaks from a place of having it all and knows what truly is the good life.

We talked holiness and what we really want our kids to know and be at the end of it all.

I was thinking that the last time I saw you,

we were probably in the stands together cheering our sons on playing football at some point,

right? I think so. It was probably the second state championship victory. Your son got to finish

the game. My son actually broke his

leg during that game, but we went on to win, and he's doing, he's doing awesome. Well, I know that was

such a rough, I mean, I'm so glad to hear that about Jeremiah. Of course, we love him. He and Mike

and my son, good friends, great teammates for the past several seasons.

And boy, our hearts broke for Jeremiah because it was fairly early on in the game, wasn't it, that that happened.

Yeah.

It was like the third drive of the game in the first quarter.
