Hi, and welcome to Jesus Over Everything, a short practical podcast that mixes encouragement,

0:05.3

the Bible, how-toes, and fantastic interviews for the listener on the go. I'm Lisa Whittle,

Devo Thursday on Joe, and this one's going to be interesting. You may write me emails with this one,

0:19.3

I hope not, but you could. Remember, for the

0:21.5

rest of the month, and last month, if you weren't listening, we're covering phrases

0:25.1

Christians love. You know, those things that just roll off our tongue that most often, we don't

0:29.0

even really think that much about it all. This is really a fascinating one in particular, because

1:17.7

this a lot. We're not nearly living our best life. And I think with each passing day and the

1:22.7

world's level of crazy, we are longing more and more for heaven. I know I am and I know that we need

1:29.2

to be longing for that. The thing is, the more crazy the world seems to get, the more I hear this

1:35.1

phrase sort of thrown around, when politics blow up, when something particularly awful or evil

1:40.6

comes up in the news, and it's all all over everywhere and we keep seeing more and more about

1:45.0

the depravity of society it can be super depressing right now i'm watching a series on on good old

1:52.2

actual tv if any of you still have that we still do i know we're so old-fashioned but it's about
