With all those scrolling, posting, commenting, and liking, who doesn't need some renewal from

their phones and their social media? Can you even believe what it's become for all of us in 2019?

in this area for me. You ready? Let's go. I recently saw this meme on the internet. It said, sometimes when I'm completely overwhelmed,

I like to sit back, take a deep breath, make a list of everything I have to do, and spend

four to five hours looking at complete strangers on Instagram. How true is this, honestly?

I have to admit many days I have to physically turn off my phone at work,

or I've even been known to put it in another room so I'm not tempted to look at it because otherwise

it's like this instinct to pick it up and scroll. So nuts what it's become for so many of us, right?

Some of you have heard me talk about this, but I used to hate social media.

I used to literally despise it and never want to do it, but I felt in many ways obligated to

increase my following because that's what they, whoever they is, tell you you have to do in order

to write books and sell them and such

and just sort of gather this following. So for me, social media takes on a different feel than

just doing it for fun a lot of the time, or at least it used to, because there was just really

no pleasure at all in it. The reason behind this is because I felt like if something was going on, I had to post it.
