Hi, and welcome to Jesus Over Everything, a short practical podcast that mixes encouragement, the Bible, how-toes, and fantastic interviews for the listener on the go.

0:10.6

I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just a few minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be time well spent.

When I say the word renewal, what does that mean to you?

0:19.6

Rebecca Lyons and I talked about this on Tuesday,

0:21.6

and I want to talk about a specific way today this plays out for so many of us, social media.

or I've even been known to put it in another room so I'm not tempted to look at it because otherwise

1:18.3

it's like this instinct to pick it up and scroll. So nuts what it's become for so many of us, right?

1:25.1

Some of you have heard me talk about this, but I used to hate social media.

1:29.3

1:37.3

increase my following because that's what they, whoever they is, tell you you have to do in order

1:43.0

to write books and sell them and such

1:44.8

and just sort of gather this following. So for me, social media takes on a different feel than

1:52.4
