But today I thought I might just let you into my own headspace and tell you what has most often hindered me in my own next right step journey.

So the five biggest hindrances in taking next right steps for me have often looked like this see if you

relate to any of them which obviously the purpose of let's not do these things anymore okay

number one overthinking i admit i'm a chronic overthinker i can be this is a a bit of the

curse of a creative and also maybe sort of a female trait to a degree I think

but can go with males or females I think but regardless I do tend to overthink and while I do

believe we need to be wise and methodical in our decisions obviously we can become paralyzed at

times with chronic overthinking. I have for sure.

And then do nothing. This is not helpful at all. Overthinking can really hinder doing the next right thing,

which I think is why Emily's book is super helpful, because it takes some of that intimidation out

for us about decision making. Really, just take the next step. Number two, overreacting. This is a

hindrance in that next right step. On the flip side of overthinking is overreacting. Now,
