Well, one of the things that I think is such a gift that we find in Christian community is that

women genuinely want to connect with one another.

And we want to know each other deeply and richly.

And when I would travel and speak with different churches, the number one thing that

women would come up and tell me at the end of my time was that they felt like I was really real

and they were just so grateful that I was so authentic, which I think is such a kind, kind compliment.

What I hope they meant by that was that they really got the sense that

who I am in the 45 minutes that we hang out is really the same person, you know, that has on

yoga pants and yesterday's makeup to go get my kids. And so I took a lot of comfort in that,

and I consider it a high and holy compliment. But I thought about it a lot. And I was like,

you know, I really think it's interesting that this is the thing I hear more often than not. But yet I don't

know if it's a spiritual gifting. Is it a fruit of the spirit? How should I think about this quality

that people see in me? And so I went to God's word just to try and understand really what is the

spiritual premium, the gospel premium on us being authentic and real and transparent. And really,
