Ministry leaders in particular, I love us, I know us. I've watched us, I've observed us for many

years. I understand the behind the scenes issues we deal with, the perceptions, and yeah,

misperceptions sometimes of who we are. And most of all, my heart is that we stay the course and we serve

Jesus in a way that honors Him and never dishonors the kingdom of God. One thing that I believe

helps us as leaders do this very thing is to be honest and open about who we are behind the scenes,

sort of pulling back the veil on what you may see or may even just think. Today on the Friday

5, five myths about ministry leaders. So let's get into it. So here we go. And here are some of the

myths about ministry leaders. Number one, we are all extroverts. I think most of us

know this isn't true, but maybe some of us still think because someone leads a group or is out

front or on a stage that we're all extroverts. Interverts are often able to do those things too

because of gifting in the Holy Spirit, actually. A lot of writers, but also leaders in

other ways, are introverts. We really are all over the map in this regard and on the scale.

Some high extrovert, some right in the middle, and some pretty introverted. I'm actually an

introvert, but a learned extrovert in the sense that I can extrovert when needed. A sort of situational

extrovert, if you will. A lot of people are surprised by this. They think I'm an extrovert

because they might hear my voice or they might see my passion from a stage and they think

I'm an extrovert. I'm actually not. I refuel by myself and I desperately need that alone
