well spent. I hope you listen to yesterday's show with Christy Purafoy. So beautiful and rich. Today I talk deeper with

Christy about a lot of things. She explains to me exactly what placemaking is. We talk about the beauty

of limits, which is something I've really grown into and come to believe is so important.

And of course, we get to the fun stuff and she shares an embarrassing mom moment I loved.

Moms, we can all relate to

this. Listen now as Christy and I have a really great conversation about some good stuff.

So the first thing I have to say off the bat is I love people who are very different for me. And I sense

that in some ways, or at least at first glance, as I'm kind of reading along and I'm getting to

know you, because I don't really know you, you and I don't know each other, I'm sensing that you

and I are different in some ways. You live in a Pennsylvania farmhouse. You have a PhD in English

literature. You garden. And I cannot tell you how I have none of those things. I am none of those things.

You are clearly just I picture you as graceful and quaint and I am like like wild and unkempt, but I want to learn your

ways because to me, this is the body of Christ, right? And being a placemaker, which your new book,

that's the title of it, it intrigues me, it interests me. And so here's what I want to know.

What is that exactly? What is a placemaker? And for me who maybe doesn't feel like the natural, graceful, maybe even hospitable soul

necessarily, is there hope for me?

Please tell me, Christy.

Oh, Lisa, there is hope for you.
