Dubin, he used to work for the Innocence Project.

And it is amazing.

So I thought I'd come on and do it live and just kind of talk about some of these lies that he's repeating that Amanda Knox told him or

sayings of the wrongful conviction movement. I want to talk a little bit about their general

ideology, which really comes through in this. But before I do, I just want to thank Holly.

Roberta, you are a lovely person and a brilliant researcher. Thank you. I owe you, Lisa, Brian,

Shelley, Levesay, William Ramsey, and others so much. It feels good to let go of the defensiveness and

accept the truth about

people like the West Memphis 3, looking forward to hearing more. I love, I love people with open

minds. And that's really what I was hoping for when I started this podcast. I was fooled by

Amanda Knox.

I was going around for years reading everything I could about her because when I worked at

Oprah, this is right after Amanda Knox got arrested, we got a letter to Oprah from the

friends of Amanda saying that she had just been arrested and giving a version of her story that was so compelling to me that this prosecutor was under investigation.

He was, but he eventually, Menini eventually got cleared that she was misunderstood in the press because she bought this

cheap underwear in a bin because she couldn't get to her underwear because her house was a crime

scene. Instead, the press ran with a story that she went with her boyfriend, Rafael Soletchito, to get lingerie and was holding it up and saying, I can't wait to go home and put this on and we're going to have great sex, something like that.

And that turned out to be totally true. And the lie about the cheap underwear turned out to be a lie. So, but it took me years to figure

out to really be logical about the Amanda Knox case. And I'll go through and as we go through
