I actually get this question a lot about how much to share from people

who want to write a book or are in the process of doing so. And I've had to deal with it myself.

I think whether or not you have a story you want to share in some way, but are scared to share

because of how it could affect someone else, or if you just want to know what's appropriate

or not to share in whatever

circle you're in, or even in a private conversation with a friend, there are some important

things to remember, especially in this online age, when knowing what to share in that space

is increasingly hard. Here's some things to think about. First of all, on the online note, online life does not

have the right and should not be given the power, by the way, to add any pressure to your offline

life. If it does, it needs to be changed. Remember, you can experience something and not share

it with anyone online, but keep it for yourself, for your

family. Life is not all about having a posting opportunity. The important thing is if you're

feeling like you have to share something online, that's a good sign your online life is bossing you
