This podcast is called is called Battleground.

It's called that because every day our lives are filled with battles large and small.

If we want to live greatly, then we must confront those battles head on.

Sometimes we win and that's great. Sometimes we lose and that's okay too because

there are always, always lessons to be learned in a loss. You see the key is never surrendering. Be

relentless in the pursuit of what matters most to you in life. My next guest is the embodiment of that. His name is Joe Kent. He served

20 years in the United States Special Forces as a Green Beret. He worked with the CIA.

Joe tragically lost his wife Shannon Marie Kent who is killed in Syria in 2019 in

service to our great nation.

Joe Kent has made his entire life about serving America.

More recently he ran for Congress in Washington State's third congressional district and is

running again this 2024 election cycle.

The truth is, Democrat, Republican, Independent, I don't care.

We would all be extremely lucky to have Joe Kent in Washington, D.C.

He understands the problems we face as a nation. He understands what it means to go to war for America.

He understands what it means to lose his friends and people that he loves and cares about?

Joe Cant has sacrificed so much for our country.

Truthfully, he's overqualified for the job of representative,

but lucky for us.

He wants to do the job.

He wants to represent and serve America once more.
