Yeah, that's right, I'm working on a Saturday, but the offer was too good and you'll see

why in a minute. December the 18th, the year of our Lord 2021, I'm Rahim Kassam, editor

and chief of the National Pulse Broadcasting from a miserable capital hill right now,

gloomy, dreary and of course everything else the same as well, making it miserable here

in Washington DC. But I've got to tell you I'm excited about our guests today.

Not least, because I was, I spent the morning, I know the regular listeners of this podcast

know that Natalie and I, we like to listen to things on two times, sometimes even three

times speed, I'm actually not up to three times speed yet. But I was listening this morning

to Sherry Marksons excellent book and if you don't have it yet, what really happened

in Wuhan is just such an extraordinary telling of the events that a lot of the media, most

of the media don't want to have to grapple with. I understand CNN's grappling with a few

other things right now, but Sherry nails it and I think it's a must read for everybody.

And as I was going through the book this morning, I thought, wow, if only every person

in the Western world can be exposed in some way to what Sherry talks about in this book,

especially as it pertains to what China did right at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic,

then I think we would all be a little bit better off. And somebody else who really truly

understands that is our guest today. I hope we'll be the congressman for Washington's
