| 0:21.9 | Ready to come home. |
| 0:22.7 | Why do they give you such crappy flight times? |
| 0:26.6 | Look, when you cover hockey, when you cover the NHL, Fred, like, you have to fly early almost all the time. |
| 0:34.4 | As far as getting home, I have to have a connection flight. |
| 0:57.1 | I'm still not going to get home until like noontime, 12, 30, 1 o'clock. But usually you have to fly as early as possible the next day to get to that next day's practice, to get to that next day's morning skate in another city. So covering the NHL turns into, you know, staying up late writing and then getting up for a 5, 6, 7 a.m. |
| 0:58.6 | flight the next day to get to the next city. |
| 0:59.6 | It's grueling. |
| 1:01.6 | Only the flex you can do it, Freddie T. |
| 1:04.4 | Now, you couldn't even get a direct flight to Nashville? |
| 1:08.4 | No, I couldn't find one when I was looking. |
| 1:09.7 | Not anything reasonable. |
| 1:27.7 | I mean, you'd have to pay hundreds of dollars more. And, you know, Daddy NBC Sports Boston isn't willing to pay that kind of change. I don't blame them. I wouldn't either. All right. Well, it seems like that you could travel in some kind of comfort. Yeah. Comfort's overrated, Fred. I like being uncomfortable. All right. |
| 1:32.2 | All right. Well, Joe, last night thing seemed to be back to normal for the Bruins. |
| 1:38.2 | And by that, I mean, they actually played better in front of Tuka Rask than they did Anton Houdobin, which is the point all along, is that. |
| 2:51.3 | Yeah. And that's the good part of what we've seen lately is that the team is playing well in front of Tuka. Tuka is getting his confidence back. It seems to, things seem to be right in the world of Tuka Raskan when it comes to the Boston Bruins. And I think the Bruins felt like it was only a matter of time and they needed to get Tuka on track because, you know, if they're going to go anywhere, he has to be the guy. So that's why you saw him go out there, you know, three straight times, even though Anton Houdobin had won four games in a row. And it worked because it got him right and it got him going in the right direction where he needed to be with the high point, obviously, being the set out against the flyers. But, you know, the byproduct of that is Anton Houdobin doesn't play for nine, 10 days. And then he goes in, and it's clear that after last night, even though it wasn't all his fault, he's no longer in the zone. There were some tough rebounds in that game, which when Anton Houdobin isn't right, that's what you see. You see rebounds around the mat. And as you alluded to, that's the bad news from last night. And losing to Nashville, the defense was god-awful in front of Houdobin. I mean, how many open chances did Nashville have in the first period in four minutes? Yeah, it was really bad. And, you know, there was a lot of blown coverage. |
