Last week on Jimmy Aiken's mysterious world.

In 1984, author Joe Fisher came into contact with an unusual woman.

Leukemia patient, she had turned to hypnosis to help with health and pain management.

While under hypnosis, she began to receive messages from spiritual guides.

Soon Joe Fisher was part of a group that was regularly attending her sessions,

and Joe got to know his own guide, a woman named

Philippa with whom he had shared an incarnation in 18th century Greece. But Joe was a paranormal

author and investigator and the guides encouraged his ambitious plan to travel internationally

and verify that the guides had really lived as the historical individuals they claimed to be

so that he could validate their important messages.

So what happened when Joe Fisher went to check out their claims?

What evidence did he discover and what did he eventually conclude?

In fact, Joe was planning another verification trip to Europe and this would be a big one.

He had plans to verify the existence of three of the group's guides. One was Aviva's guide Russell, who had been a shepherd in 19th century

England. Another was Tom's new guide who had replaced Ernest. This was the World War

One soldier Harry. And the third was his own guide

Philippa to verify her existence he was going to his beloved land of Greece and walk the

streets that they had walked together.

Through Aviva, Joe thus interviewed Philippa, gathering as much information as he'd need
