And welcome to another episode of the Locked-on Bengals podcast.

I'm recording after the national championship game in which Joe Burrow and the LSU Tigers put the Clemson Tigers down

and our quarterback of the future won the game. We're going to talk about that first, but then Joe is

going to get into mock draft Monday. Of course, I assume we're picking Joe Burrow. I don't think

this is the week to play devil's advocate, but you won't know until you listen.

So we'll get into that after this first segment.

And I'm just going to talk about Joe Burrow here for a while.

And we're going to play his interview when he was given the offensive player of

the game award directly following the game and the trophy presentation to play you into our

first break of the show. Joe Burrow has led the LSU Tigers to a national championship to cap off

what will likely go down in history as the greatest college quarterback

season to date. His next stop is Cincinnati. Joe Burrow capped off a flawless senior campaign

for the LSU Tigers with a 42-25 comeback victory over the Clumson Tigers in the National Championship game.

LSU trailed 17 to 7 early in this one with Joe Burrow getting out to a bit of a rocky start,

going four for his first eight for just 25 yards,

before finishing the game 31 for 49 for 463 yards, 5 touchdowns,

58 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown.
