1:20.0	He is a perfect poster guy for my contention that the majority of Americans at this point in history simply believe what they want to believe.
1:33.0	And facts, context, fairness, doesn't have a lot to do with it.
1:40.0	Well, if you want to believe something, you're going to believe it.
1:43.0	Now, sometimes that's good, so I believe in God and I believe in the Christian theology because I want to believe it.
1:53.0	I've never seen God. I believe he has acted in a way that has affected me and my family.
2:01.0	But again, I want to believe that. I want to believe in a benevolent God that is the prince of justice and that in the end evil people will get theirs and good people will be rewarded.
2:12.0	I want to believe it, so I do.
2:15.0	But in the matter of religion, it doesn't really matter because there are very few facts available to demonstrate theology is reality.
2:28.0	There are a few, but not many.
2:31.0	In politics, totally different. It's like sports. There is a scorecard.
2:37.0	And if you watched and listened to Joe Biden, that scorecard got totally thrown out in a state of the Union address.
