America, we got to get back to doing what's expected of us as free citizens in this democracy.

But remember, once a week on this podcast, maybe more than that, but at least once a week on this podcast, I have a conversation about something with someone who disagrees with me.

I think it's so fucking important that we do that.

I used to be, as I've said often, a political asshole.

I used to be really divisive.

I do my damnedest now not to be that way.

I think it's really important.

I think in America today, we are at a point today where we hate the people we disagree with.

We consider the people we disagree with to be our mortal enemies.

I hope everybody listening understands that this is a bad place to be.

So once a week I have a conversation with somebody that I disagree with who

doesn't think like me it's not a debate I don't do debates conversations

trying to model that's all I'm trying to do is model how to have respectful

dialogue with people with whom you disagree.

I think for the sake of our democracy, that's really, really important.
