Hello, and welcome to another edition of the Byron York Show, the no-chit-chap podcast.

We like to get right into it, and what we're going to get into today is what you might

call Joe Biden and the powerless presidency.

The president of the United States who has no power to deal with some of the most important

issues facing the country.

Now, there's no doubt that inflation is the most pressing concern of Americans right

now.

All the polls show it.

You can look at them, poll after poll after poll.

All the data shows it, and everybody just personally knows it.

I mean, just know that inflation is the most pressing concern today.

Now, the president, Joe Biden, will not admit, will not admit that his policies and his

party's policies have made inflation worse.

And that if they had their way, they would make it worse still.

He just can't say that.

I mean, how could he?

You know, I've made inflation worse, and I tried to make it even worse than that.

He really can't come out and say that.

So instead, his reaction has been a mixture of denial, of finger pointing, of ineffective

gestures, and perhaps most of all, the argument that he, as president of the United States,

is virtually powerless to address the nation's most pressing concern.

I don't know if you saw him on Jimmy Kimmel a while back.
