I'm in Jupiter, Florida, where the weather has been exquisite these past few days. But I understand in the Northeast, it's been a little bit rainy. So I'm heading back there tomorrow. Not because it's raining, just because that's where I live. And just took a short little vacation.

I did put some sunblock on my face, but I have that light Irish skin that the sun just busts right through it and gives me a sunburn.

I don't know how many of you watched the last night's episode of New York homicide. I was on it with

Detective Pat Porteus, Lieutenant Dennis Churns, on a case that occurred December 1st, 2001.

And the thing that was made that so unique was that was right after 9-11.

September was, of course, excuse me, yes, September was 9-11, 9-11-01.

In December 1st, 01, we woke up in the 23 precinct that the crime business was back in business

on that December 1st where we had four

homicides in one day in the two three precinct and the one covered last night on

New York homicide Carmen Cignonas and Ruben Frederick was one of those cases occurred 22 years ago

yet I'll always remember that case as if it was yesterday.

Very emotional case.

A lot of outstanding work being done by the best detectives in this world,

the detectives from the NYPD.
