I got a special guest on the podcast. His name is Joby Martin. So he is the founder and lead

pastor of the church of 1122 in Jacksonville, Florida. He's also a speaker and an author and the host

of the deep in with pastor Joby Martin podcast. And he's also the author of a brand new book that I've

got right here in front of me called if the tomb is empty, why the resurrection means anything

is possible. So guys, I get pitched a lot of books and I get pitched a lot of people to come on

the show. And so I don't always get pitched pastors. And so that was kind of interesting. So I never

really heard of this guy's ministry. And so it's like, yeah, sure, it's in the book over and I'll

start reading it. Not only is it one of the better books that I've read this year. Okay, it was

very encouraging. And we get it, we get a lot into the book really in the first half of this podcast.

But this is not only one of the best interviews I felt like we've done this year and we've had a

bangers this year. I mean, my gosh, some of the ones we've even got coming up are ridiculous.

This is one of my favorite interviews ever. And for a lot of reasons, not only his answers on

certain things that you know, the access to his brain that he gave us when he answered, you know,

certain things in certain ways, the different subject matters. But we talked about so many important

things and he kept bringing things back to the Bible. And it was encouraging to me as a guy that's

trying to lead other men through this ministry and through this podcast to see faithful men like that

that you can follow him as he follows Christ. And you know, I kind of similarly want to do that with

you guys. But in this interview, we really get a lot into the book. We get into, you know, kind of

why set it up the way that he did, why we focus on the resurrection so much. I think he kind of

took a shot at Andy Stanley in his book. And so some of you guys know exactly what we're going to be

talking about. We're going to be talking about the whole unhitch thing that came up and all that
