Job has has told his friends that they are the most miserable

of comforters and truer words have maybe never been spoken.

These are the worst kind of comforters

that you could possibly have.

And we ended with him making a pretty jarring statement, which is that God is not only against him, but pretty sure that God hates me.

And we kind of ended talking a little bit about the sort of Old Testament binary of there is no God is neutral with you. God is either for you or against you. He either loves you or he hates you. He is certainly not indifferent and this is how it went with all descriptions of relationships and dispositions towards whether it's God or people that there's love and hate and that's it and that's and

Job says well as I audit my situation what conclusion can I come to other than I'm pretty sure this God hates me?

Yeah and he's going to transition in Job 1610 to talk about how they so that's kind of the

vertical dimension but you got the horizontal too because now if God is against you, God's attacking you, Job says,

then this has repercussions in this world too because that means that everybody who thinks they're on God's side, well they're going to they're going to start basically doing the same thing thinking oh well, you know obviously this guy's this guy's done something, look what God's done to him.

Evidently, we should kind of imitate that as well and take him to task for what he's done.
