but the temperatures were still hot and sticky.

It feels like the dog days of summer.

And even the dog, I'm looking over at my dog sitting in the studio,

but he's like, whatever.

And he's just chilling next to the air conditioning. So it's rough.

And, you know, it doesn't feel like the fall.

And it's, if nothing else, as you point out,

it's sort of ruining some football weather as well.
