He's a color scientist with whom we've worked for many years.

He's kind of, I guess you could say, a genius at these things. We'd like to welcome

Wachim Zell or Jay-Z to his friends from E-film Hollywood.

Jay-Z, the first thing we like to ask our guests is how they got to where they are now.

Did you dream of being a color scientist from a young age?

Well, young age.

I think I started with 16 becoming a radio and television repair technician and from there I always got picked up by mentors then which pushed me one step higher at the time.

It was actually interesting that where I am right now it's not my own choice.

I always found mentors and later I found customers like you and Roger who then

thought huh that's not too bad what he's doing let's bring him on again. Well, can you define what a color scientist is?

Yeah, it's interesting.

So I actually went to university in Wisbaden, Germany and studied film and television engineering.

And there was no color scientist or imaging scientist to choose from as well.

I guess the market is too small to have a huge amount of imaging or color scientists out there.

You study something getting close and then again you get picked and then you

boost your knowledge in that area. I think looking around the world I know six or seven of them in Japan, Germany, France and in the US.
