thanksgiving and we are bringing you a little bit of the uh full stomach magic that comes with the holiday season.

You know what I mean?

You ever just really fill up.

You need that nap afterwards, which I don't even know.

I've heard that that's not good for your heart.

No, you're definitely not supposed to eat a bunch and then sleep.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So fight the urge, listen to this podcast, even though many of you have written in to say

you use it to sleep, have your Thanksgiving meal, gather around, and listen to stories

of families whose whole relationships are in disarray.

Oh, is that what we're covering today?

Basically wanted to start with a story that I was told about why this person is not going home

for Thanksgiving. And there are many reasons not to going home for Thanksgiving.

And there are many reasons not to go home for Thanksgiving.

You don't like your family.

Your family doesn't like you.

There's always drama.

You're not married yet.

There's all these different things depending on the family and the person that you can point to that are sometimes legitimate, sometimes not as legitimate reasons for not wanting to engage during the holiday, right, even though there is that existential pressure to.
