So one of the big stories in the NFL is that the Nashville football team, which is where

Bud Adams moved the Oilers in 1996, calling them the Tennessee Titans, that that football

team will wear a throwback Oilers uniform, not just a jersey, the helmet, the uniform, everything.

So JJ Watte was asked his opinion on it and JJ tends to be like Peyton Manning a guy who doesn't

express strong opinions about anything because that would ruffle feathers. And I thought he'd

say, well, it's a beautiful tribute to a beautiful franchise in a beautiful city at a beautiful

time for beautiful people to enjoy a beautifulity or something. It wasn't going to, but even he,

and this is a pretty opinionated statement for him, said, it will be a great look,

but it pains me for Houston and those fans. So anything other than it's wonderful,

everything is great tells you that there is a clear recognition that this is going to be painful

for Houstonians, for fans of the love you blew era. Well, Bud Adams is dead, thank God.

And I know I've got friends who worked for Bud Adams. I can, Bud Adams was an ass, a complete

and utter ass. Everything about him was awful. And you don't need to, but Michael, he was my friend.

He was a lot of people's friend that are friends of mine. He was also my neighbor. I could tell you

stories for the next hour of today's show on how much everyone we all hated him, everything about

it, everything around from bossing his office staff who he brought to his house to install his

landscaping to, well, I'll stop there. I can tell you he was not a nice neighbor. And when we

moved in and I asked one of the neighbors, whose house is that? It's baby blue and white.

Oh, that's Bud Adams. Everybody hates him. And I thought, oh, well, that's funny,

because I hate him for fire and boom. Oh, he's done much worse than that. He's a terrible
