Hello, hello, everyone, another episode of the weighing in podcast.

I had to move some chairs around in here and I had to get all things.

It was like, I put my belt behind me.

I've had that thing collecting dust in the other room for, I don't know how long, man.

I was like watching a video of Mike Tyson the other day, throw old belts around I was like I'm not disrespect to my belt like that I feel like I'm leaving it over there in the corner let's go ahead nobody puts baby in the corner come on over here my man john Morgan another tuesday night with your man josh thompson man how you been today and uh man we got a lot talk about about on the UFC 327 fallout. We got a lot to talk about, so I won't waste a lot of time, but I will just say off the top before we jump in it. That UFC card this past weekend, I'm not sure if I ever remember being like more excited after a card was over, just all the fun fights along the way and then that crazy ending in

the main event i mean a comeback like that in a title fight i just by the end of the night i'm like dude

this is what this sport is about the u sss on a little role right now i would agree i would agree man look

the last three shows have not disappointed. They've delivered all three fights.

Like I think it was the Seattle card on paper didn't look like it was going to be great.

Great card though.

And then the card at the apex before that didn't seem like it was like probably considered to be one of the worst cards on paper.

And it delivered.

We had some great bar murder fights.

And man, I love when these guys just start throwing down.

And I, like I said, I feel like the dust just needed to settle into this new paramount deal. And I think that's exactly what's going on. People were just not, you know, they were so amped up over, oh, we want to see the best. And this and now you're getting $1.1 million, billion. And we all of a sudden, the fights are going to get better because you guys are getting paid. That's not how this works, man.

The fighters got to be into it. The fighters are now, I think, settled in to the new home on Paramount, and they feel good about it. No doubt about it, man. All cylinders are clicking right now. And we know, listen, it's just ebbs and flows, man. Tell me one organization in time. You tell me there weren't any like a couple of pride events in a row that you're like,

ah, that was kind of a ho-hum, UFC.

I mean, it happens all the time with every organization.

I think everybody's just so quick to make like the instant, like, oh, the sport is cooked.

It's over.

We need the hot take reaction.

We need to have the weird thumbnail where the, where the sport is done.
