Well, I'm on the road tomorrow up in Buffalo, so shout out to everybody on WBEN who's going to see us get nuts at the Riviera Theater.

It is sold out. I am flattered. You sure know how to make a girl feel special.

But as I was running to the studio today, I saw that the Dow Jones is at 49,600.

That is a big damn deal.

If you've got a 401k, if you're invested in the stock market, but the bigger deal, and I really do mean this in all sincerity, is that it is a sign that things are stabilizing in the Middle East.

You get a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. Obviously, Iran and their senior leadership just announced that

the Strait of Hormuz is going to remain fully open until the ceasefire ends or they make a deal.

The stock market likes that. The economy comes roaring back.

Every single time we get on the show, I say to you, I do talk radio, not through the lens

of how does the news affect the Republicans in the midterms or the Democrats in this primary.

How does it affect you? Okay. And when the world stabilizes, it of course

affects you in the best way possible because most importantly you and your family are safer,

but back in terms of your day-to-day responsibilities and your ambitions, we're living in America

to do it in. Okay, this is a week where we got the biggest tax cuts in the history of this country.

Of course, the Trump RX plan knocked the actual price of prescriptions drugs down by over 60%.

It's funny because Trump says 300% sometimes. I'm like, that would mean they owe you money.

You know, Trump gets to embellish a little bit as a New Yorker, but there's a lot of good economic indicators. And of course, inflation continues to shrink

wages growing faster than inflation for the first time in 50 years.

I hope that choir doesn't get tired of singing. We got a lot of good news.

So if you're wondering why I am in that mood, that's why I'm in. I root for the country really hard because I was just raised the right way. I grew up in the 1980s. Reagan was the president. I was surrounded by veterans because Levertown is, in a lot of ways, America's first suburb. It was built for American GIs returning home from the war. and I grew up around a lot of guys, young guys who served and moved to Levittown, post-military
