and reinvention who is without a doubt one of the most significant figures in the history of the

music industry of which he has been a part for nearly a half century.

Ayeveen's story is remarkable.

His first job in the music business was sweeping the floors of a studio, but through hard

work, talent, and a little bit of luck, he became a recording engineer serving the likes of John Lennon and Bruce Springsteen, then a record producer for artists such as Patty Smith, Tom Petty, and U2.

Then a record label chief who guided the careers of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg,

Eminem and Lady Gaga, and many others.

And then an entrepreneur who partnered with Jay on Beats Electronics,

a manufacturer of headphones, earphones, and speakers

that they co-founded in 2006 and sold to Apple in 2014

for $3.2 billion, making it the largest acquisition in Apple's history.
