Summary

Patrick Daugherty (@RotoPat) and Denny Carter (@CDCarter13) break down all the biggest news from Week 13, beginning with the league-wide instability at quarterback. They evaluate the fallout from Jimmy Garoppolo’s injury, where Baker Mayfield might end up, and if Tyler Huntley will be a worthy streamer during Lamar Jackson’s absence. They then dive into the backfield, taking a look at the situations with Ken Walker, Zonovan Knight, James Cook and Cam Akers. They debate if D’Andre Swift is “back” and if Nico Collins and D.J. Chark are worth a look at receiver.

Hello, everybody. Welcome to the road or a football show. I am Patrick Dirty joined by Danny Carter. I know you're tired of hearing this, but it's a Monday. It's a Tuesday. Not legally allowed to say. Wish that we were. But it's gonna be a good show. We're gonna break down all the goings-ons.

0:29.8

From week 13, the waiver wire implications for week 14. But didn't have to stop first before the show as one does. I'm just blowing my nose a few times.

0:40.8

And it's because of the kids, Danny. Yeah. And I've gotten every virus but COVID-19 this fall. And it's just my son.

0:50.8

He's been snotting for, I think, literally three weeks straight. It's incredible. The length of time a kid is sick. My daughter has had this stuff he knows since 2018.

1:02.8

I will say that I'm glad that she's now old enough where I don't have to use that device that not to gross people out.

1:18.8

So you don't know what device you're talking about. But you got to do when you're a parent. The nose freedom.

1:23.8

You nose freedom. And look it up, folks. If you have any questions, I really don't want to gross folks out. But that is, and first of all, it's a blessing. It's a great device. I love the fact that you can clear your kids' nose before they can blow their nose. But thank goodness when they reach an age where they can grab a tissue and just clear their own nose.

1:42.8

The nose freedom is shockingly disgusting from our. It's an absolute horror show.

1:47.8

Are there some things? What are those things for adults? Those like sinus cleansers? I would say no doubt in my mind if you've used one.

1:55.8

Yeah. Try to explain what are those? Yeah. As a, as a yuppie in the summer, you're actually required to have at least one in Maryland. So yeah, you, you know, you have some distilled water.

2:10.8

You warm it up. You make sure it's clean, you know, because what you don't want is you don't want some dirty water going straight to your brain.

2:17.8

And then you, you know, peel over. And but it goes through your nasal passages and comes, comes out again, not to be gross. But wow, it makes a difference. It is nothing like blowing your nose.

2:30.8

What are the, what means? So was that supposed to accomplish just clearing you out? Well, it clears, it clears you up. It gets to places where you can't get with, with, with a tissue. It also pat and, you know, you have to read up on this.

2:42.8

Okay. It also cleans out parts of your nose that you just, you, you can't reach. In other words, like, like, it makes it so that the illness doesn't stick around longer than it has to.

2:54.8

It's supposed to be up there. What if it's like some of my defense mechanisms or something? Am I blowing out antibodies or something?

3:01.8

I mean, if you're that concerned, then I would just go ahead and not wash your hands anymore.

3:05.8

It's real quick. By the way, do you blow your nose like a man? By the way, it's just to blow your nose hard that you like, you get dizzy. That's what I usually do.

3:15.8

I'm actually, you'll be shocked and the listeners will be shocked to hear this. I'm a very timid nose blower.

3:22.8

I get violent because I grew up with bad, like undiagnosed allergies. So my nose is running all the time. So I'm a very, very serious nose blower.

3:31.8

I don't take it seriously at all. I mean, I come from a long line of men who grab not two, not two tissues, but three tissues.

3:39.8

Oh my gosh.

3:40.8

Which is a huge waste, but huge, huge waste are killing the planet.
