Let's start with Bo Vista, the summer of 1997,

you're 25 years old, cast your mind back all the way back to then, Leeds United

come in for you.

Yeah.

How did you find out about that?

And was it a surprise?

I knew that George Graham, obviously we all knew back home in Holland who

George Graham was with his history at Arsenal that he was following me because he went to leads and and they needed a new striker.

He had a few problems with Ibova and Iboa left and Thomas Brolene used to be there and it didn't work out so they were looking for a striker.

At the end of the season we went into the final the domestic cup in Portugal and I was on the

bench and I knew that Josh Graham was in the stadium so it was difficult and anxious times, you know, because I wanted to play and I wanted to show what I got because every player wants to come to the premiership, you know, back home in in in Holland we get all the English football we get that you

know every Sunday every every Saturday so we know about all all the big clubs and Leeds was a big club so I thought my opportunity to go to Leeds was done.

But luckily they followed me in a few matches, you know,

and they were happy what they saw.
