What we do here every week on the podcast is take an album of music and talk about what makes it great.

We try to have the conversation around the music that fans do, and then we end it with a track-by-track review in which we talk about the things we love about the songs and the things we think about while listening to them. Yeah, and we're not doing it alone this week either. Absolutely not.

Who are we having joined us, Brian? Well, Bill, funny you ask that question, but we are having author, producer, and engineer Jesse Cannon on with us. And he's produced a whole lot of different,

whole lot of different records.

And most notably, locally,

are our friends the Vaughans, actually.

And he's also worked with bigger artists and whatnot.

You'll actually hear him talk a little bit about that in the episode.

Yeah, and that's kind of neat because we even do a little bit of a deep dive to use your term into some of the technical aspects, you know, different recording consoles, different producing techniques.

And it's a pleasure that we don't always get to express upon our listeners because sometimes things are a little above yours in my head

and it's nice to have somebody in here who can really like get his hands dirty and say, oh yeah,

this is how this record was made. And I thought that was really cool, especially for this one,

because this is actually one of the ones that has been on our master list of albums to do

since the beginning because this is one of my all-time favorite albums.

Yeah.

It's nice that we finally got to do it.

And the fact that we're still kind of getting to a few handful of albums, you know, that are still...

Yeah, it's still important to me and you, Brian, on a personal level, because not every

episode we do is like that anymore.
