(50:15-1:20:42) – Scott Carter of FloridaGators.com joins the Fan Midday Show with James Boyd and Jimmy Cook to explain what kind of person Anthony Richardson was when he got to Florida at the age of 18, where he saw Richardson grow the most on the football field, elaborates on the relationship that Anthony had with head coach Billy Napier, and how he might be more prepared to be a quarterback in the NFL in areas that people may not realize.

(1:20:42-1:36:47) – Jimmy and James continue the Colts conversation by bringing up the Jonathan Taylor contract extension for the first time during the show. James lobbies out a timeline he is expecting something to be done by and a week where the two sides could work something out if an extension isn’t agreed upon before the season.

(1:38:08-2:09:26) – Former NBA front office executive Dan Purcell joins the Fan Midday Show with Jimmy Cook and James Boyd to explain the significance of the Pacers signing Tyrese Haliburton to the designated rookie max extension, what the signing of Bruce Brown does for the Indiana Pacers, how he knew the Jerami Grant signing told him that Damian Lillard would not be there long term, and breaks down the type of player the Pacers acquired in Obi Toppin.

(2:09:26-2:24:17) – James had a piece come out in The Athletic where he projects the 53-man roster which leads to Jimmy asking him why he went with the number of players in one position group. Additionally, they discuss the future of Michael Pittman Jr. with the Indianapolis Colts as he enters a contract year.

(2:24:17-2:29:22) – We close out today’s show with the JCook Plays of the Day, Eddie sharing one MLB pick he likes, and Joey Chestnut winning another mustard belt at Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.
