0:31.4	I have, oh gosh, I guess about 22, 23 years of a career background in statistics, statistical analysis.
0:42.3	The three areas were quality control, marketing research, and sales analysis, and forecasting,
0:49.3	which are three very big and important areas of statistical analysis practice.
0:58.5	I did well in all three areas, but my favorite by far was marketing research.
1:04.8	I worked at Digital Equipment Corporation during the time where they were ranked number two behind IBM, but ahead of
1:12.0	Hewlett-Packard. I worked at Staples at the headquarters in the late 90s. I worked later in a
1:19.3	private consulting firm that offered me an opportunity to prepare for this newsletter.
1:24.9	This newsletter was begun in 2004. It's been, I just hit the 16th anniversary,
1:32.7	which is kind of amazing. I've moved from age 52 to 68 and a Social Security recipient.
1:40.4	But I like to say that I am 68.
1:44.5	I feel young 50s, and a lot of people think that I look like I'm in the late 50s,
1:50.7	and that's all very nice.
