Hey, everybody, and welcome to the Rob Leifeld show, featuring Rob Observations.

I am your host, Rob Leifeld.

I have been making the comic books for 40 years, writing, drawing, inking, publishing,

across five decades, the 80s, the 90s, the 2000s, the 2010s, and the 2020s.

I, uh, if you know me, you know, comic books are my absolute passion.

I love being part of the game i love being in the game

uh got a bunch of books that are coming out i'll tell that at tell you about those comic books

at the end of the show but we are coming to you this morning at the top of the show at the top of

the morning to uh discuss the passing of a tremendous figure in the comic

book world and what's going to offset the sadness that I feel over this absolute

titans passing is the fact that I am going to sit here and celebrate him and his impact

and his work.

Jim Shooter was for my lifetime.

He is and has been the most consequential, the most impactful and the most influential,

and the most influential editor-in-chief Marvel Comics has had in the last 50 years

easily since Stan Lee. And that's saying something. There have been Comics has had in the last 50 years easily since Stan Lee.
