Why don't we start with the NFL?

Listen, I'm never ever going to be that dude that overreacts to anything, much less what

happens in the preseason.

After all, it is the pre-season.

But that doesn't mean that there aren't still reports dropping from camp almost every single day,

every camp.

And if you're following what's coming out of say New England, it's been

sounding a lot like this. Quote, Patriots' number one offense today has been distressingly bad. Run stuffs, aborted plays, would-be sacks,

distress lobs into traffic just to get the ball out, beginning to feel it's less the new

offense and more of the post-scarce cycle of oil coaches. They are perpetually overwhelmed. That was Tom Curran. No less

an authority than Tom Curran. My feeling is if Tom Curran says it then it must be so. Now that was a week ago.

Fact of the matter is and I bring that up because I was not here a week ago,

but that was a very telling statement.

The fact of the matter is it may have been a week ago,

but apparently not a hell of a lot has changed.

The defining narrative coming out of Patriots' camp

is still that the offense is essentially a smoldering dumpster.

And that, by the way, is pretty much the least surprising thing ever, right?

Considering they do not have an offensive coordinator. What they do have are

two dudes that Bellacek has turned to in Joe Judge and Fat Matt Patricia.
