Some really scary news here in Los Angeles, so let me just get right to it and lay it out.

Sham Shorinia tweeted, quote,

USC All-American Bronny James collapsed on the court Monday. it had a cardiac arrest.

He was taken to the hospital, he is now in stable condition,

and no longer in the ICU.

The following statement was released by the family, quote,

yesterday while practicing

brawny James suffered a cardiac arrest,

a James family spokesperson said in a statement, quote, medical staff was able to treat

brawny and take him to the hospital. He is now a stable condition and no longer in ICU.

We ask for respect and privacy for the James family

and we will update media when there is more information.

It goes on quote,

LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks

and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff

for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes."

End quote.

So in one sense, sort of hard to believe that it's a real story but it is in fact a very real story.

Obviously let's be very happy that the young man appears to be okay. I want to talk to Dr David Chow about this momentarily

and get his thoughts, but importantly, primarily, it would appear that he is improving and is fine right now in stable condition that's the most
