It has been a minute since we've had a good old-fashioned old-school manager meltdown in Major League Baseball.

But the baseball gods gifted us with just that.

In fact, an instant classic last night in H town where the

Nationals returned this week for the first time since the 2019 World Series.

And remember that fact.

that fact because that's a really relevant piece of information here.

First, let me set the scene.

We go straight to the bottom of the ninth in Houston last night.

Tie game.

Bases loaded.

One out.

Infield in.

And not just the infield, everybody in. Five infielders in. Nats manager Davey Martinez, not

messing around last night. As everybody was about to find out, he played it ultra aggressive with the five man

infield. Talk about wanting to cut down that run at the plate. Why don't have nine guys in? He had five in and he would

keep up that same energy. Had the energy when he had five guys playing in and

then he had the same energy after the game after this happened.

Brownball towards short they're gonna come home they get the force out there

they throw at first not in time the throw gets away and the Astros are going to win. A Breu

crosses the plate. The throw got away from Chavins at first.

Navy Martinez is claiming interference on Myers.
