When I said I'm going to start with the program with something that you wouldn't think that I would start with, not my kid.

Well that too, but that's not what I meant. So on the one hand it seems pretty

unbelievable that I would fire out and open up this show with something like this.

And I'm telling you, a number of you are not going to understand why I'm doing this.

A number of you will not get it.

And by a number of you, I mean essentially every last one of you.

But I'm going to do it anyway.

I'm going to do it, and it's not the sexiest topic.

Definitely not.

But I'm doing it because this crew has earned it. Now, before I get rolling

downhill on this, I just want to make it very clear that I know what month it is. I am well aware of how a calendar works. I know how to read. I know it's April.

I'm getting that out of the way right now because I know you and I know how the

majority of you are going to respond to what I'm about to say. I know it's April.

I know it's extremely early but here's the quote

I get it, I know how to read a calendar.

I'm not telling you to run to your nearest sports book and bet the mortgage on Tampa.

I'm not trying to tell you that they're on pace to win 162 games

or that they're about to go and break the Mariners 116 win mark, which to me will never not be hilarious.

The Mariners of all teams hold the single season record for wins.
