Let's get started. First things first, the madness madness nobody has ever made going to the final four

Look easier than Yukon over the past two years and it's quite possible than nobody's ever made it look tougher than Purdue, over the past 44 years.

The Purdue Final Four breakthrough is such a long time coming that even Jean Katie who used to come on this program all the time back in the day.

Even he can't believe it.

That dude put in 25 great seasons and didn't quite get it done, at least not as it relates to that.

And then Matt Painter took over and put in 19 very good seasons before it actually happened. I mean think about that.

Jean Katie seemed like he was there forever. Painter has been there 19 years and

there have been some bad losses, really bad losses, but Purdue finally gets over.

They finally get into the Final Four.

And of course it happened after one of those terrible losses.

In fact, probably the single most humiliating loss

in the history, not only of that program,

but maybe of the sport.

Of course, Boilermaker nation

had to collectively smash up against rock bottom before they could experience the ultimate high and they did they all did the entire boiler nation the, the players, the coaches, the fans, everybody, the administration,

the students.

Apparently they needed the ultimate defeat in order to experience and unlock the ultimate relief.

My point is, pretty easy to feel pretty good about these dudes.

At least it is for me.

Now I know there's a lot of complainers who have a lot of complaints about this team

and especially about their big man, Zach Edy, about how he's quote,
