But by the end of the day we all knew right on opening day no less who knew that

the first game of the season, in the debut of the most famous player

in the sport, arguably the greatest player ever in that sport, and that game happening at the ass crack of dawn, halfway around the world, was merely an appetizer of things to come.

Who knew the main course would be the most famous player getting caught up in a

sports gambling scandal with his interpreter? Even for baseball that was one hell of a train wreck day for baseball.

Even for Shohay, this is one hell of an opening day stat line.

Two hits. An RBI, a stolen base, one four and a half mill gambling

controversy, and one interpreter and alleged best friend bleep canned.
