All right, so what I'm getting at is this. I don't have very many good things to say about Major League Baseball these days.

Yes, I had Dave Robertson on.

Yes, I had Bruce Bochion this week.

These are good things.

I'm talking about Major League Baseball as an entity. I don't have very many

good things to say. In fact, I don't have any good things to say, which is unfortunate because I love baseball.

It's sort of like when Rick Patino said it's not St. Johns, it's my team.

It's not St. John's, it's my team. Same thing. It's not baseball. It's the people who run

baseball. The people who are running baseball are running it straight into the

ground. I love the sport. But the people who run the

sport seem like they hate the sport. But this time I've got to hand it to them

for once because for once the people who run

baseball actually came up with a great idea. Again a very graphic idea but a great idea.

Now because it's a great idea and it was come up with by the people who run the sport.

It was probably unintentional.

It was probably by accident. In fact, I'm sure it was by accident because there's no way they meant to do this.

But let me give credit where credit is due because it's actually amazing. It's actually genius the newest innovation to the game is the oldest trick in the book the new idea

To get more eyeballs on the sport is to give those eyeballs something to look at.

Or really, I should say, give those eyes some balls to look at.

Some bats and balls.
