So a year ago I sat in this very same box. I told you that the NBA All-Star game was an

abomination to the sport of basketball and that the game being an abomination was nothing new and then it would only get worse.

And of course I was not wrong about any of that.

You see at this point, trashing the NBA All-Star game is the easiest take in the world.

It is the lowest hanging fruit there is.

The only thing easier than trashing the All-Star game is trashing the Dunk Contest, which is officially

back to being unwatchable garbage after one mildly entertaining year.

You know that whole Mac McClung thing last year was almost cool.

Almost cool.

So of course the league did what they do. They ran it back. They ran it back again. Like it was sort of different and sort of interesting that a six foot two inch, 180 pound pound g leagging

tick talking viral dunker won the dunk contest

you know that was mildly interesting last year or you can make the argument that That was the exact moment that the done contest finally and officially jumped the shark. Either or right? For me, as always, my answer is yes. But at least it was something

different last year.

This time around, Commissioner Ers and Company

decided to jump the very same shark once again.

They basically decided to pull the shark out of the water and have the shark jump the shark this time.

Instead of having the fawns do it.
