| 0:15.3 | So what I want to do right now is I want to start the show by making a major |
| 0:19.8 | announcement regarding the show. |
| 0:22.7 | So as most of you know, 2024 has been a tremendous year of transition, transformation, |
| 0:29.3 | and evolution for the show, and for the brand. |
| 0:33.6 | And mostly from a visual standpoint, right? |
| 0:36.5 | I mean, for instance, after our Super Bowl coverage, after that ended, the |
| 0:40.4 | samovacast went off of linear cable for the first time in several years, and we began |
| 0:45.7 | to stream for the first time ever as part of the samovacast. |
| 0:50.1 | And that was a strategic decision based on getting the show in front of as many people as possible, in as many places as possible, and offering it for free. |
| 1:02.6 | Our first step was to stream the show on the X platform live. |
| 1:07.1 | So anybody who uses that app can watch the program live daily for free and can engage |
| 1:14.3 | with us via that platform. Hence the hashtag Jim Rome on X. So once we established that and it was |
| 1:21.4 | awesome, we then went about establishing the Rome Fast channel. Fast is an acronym for free ad-supported streaming television. |
| 1:31.4 | Once again, what we were looking to do was get the show to as many people as we possibly could |
| 1:36.8 | and to do so for free. So you can also watch that show for free via our fast channel on the following platforms, |
| 1:45.3 | Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Prime Video, Vizio, LG, Plex, DirecTV, and now Sling. |
| 1:54.7 | Got a kick out of that. |
| 1:55.6 | A lot of you were like, hey, Rome, great to see you back on TV. |
