Indianapolis shocked the shield with one of the most bizarre moves in the history of that

league and no I'm not talking about the firing of Frank Reich. That was

inevitable. Inevitable. Everybody saw that coming, including Reich himself,

and given how horrible they were on the field,

and what we now know was going on behind the scenes,

Frank Wright getting whacked. we now know was going on behind the scenes.

That was probably one of the better days

of his entire football life.

So no, when I say that one of the most shocking things we're ever going to see happened. I'm not talking about him getting fired

I'm talking about the naming of Jeff Saturday as his interim replacement

A. K. A. P pulling a dude with zero NFL coaching experience and zero collegiate

coaching experience. I'm not even saying head coaching experience

zero collegiate coaching experience

and they pulled this guy right off the set in Bristol where he had been

screaming hot takes and trying to get people to look at him like the rest of them

and they're going to drop this guy right on the sideline. In other words,

Jim Mersey hired Jeff Saturday out of nowhere to throw him straight into the

fire Sunday.
