It starts Friday off the way I normally do by talking about TNF.

Thursday Night Football, look I'm not going to sit here in normally do by talking about TNF, Thursday night football.

Look, I'm not going to sit here and act like that was the most thrilling football game

ever.

Nor am I going to say that the Steelers look like world beaters last night? But I can say this. They didn't look like world beaters last night but I can say this they didn't look like world

beaters but you can't take away from them the fact that they are five and three

somehow some way Pittsburgh has the same record is the Niners which is the same record is the bills

Which doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to anybody who has ever watched the Steelers this season. Would anybody

confuse them with either the bills or the Niners? No, but they've got the same record.

But you don't even have to rely on the eye test here you can

just look at the facts. Let me give you some numbers. Let me give you some facts

about the Steelers. Yes they are five and three. However, Pittsburgh has been out gained by their

opponent in all eight games this year. They're the only team in the league that's been out gained in all eight

games so far this season. They've been out gained by a total of 790 yards and

yet somehow they're five and three.

As always, make that make sense.

They just became the only team to have a winning record through eight games,

despite being out gained in every game since they started

tracking rushing and receiving yardage since 1993 no team has ever been

out gained in eight straight to start the season and come out of that

stretch better than 500 until the Steelers just pulled it off and if you can ask
